Matt Butler Freelance Music Producer, Mixing & Recording Engineer Experienced With World Class Artists from Mono to 5.1 Surround Sound

Learning traditional Production & Recording methods from a wide range of associations he is equally an exponent of modern methods, owning a large flight-cased Pro Tools rig also running Logic. He was the first Digidesign client in England to obtain the 24-bit upgrade to Pro Tools.

Matt worked as an engineer in several residential studios before joining A.I.R.-London. He soon became associated with A.I.R. management to work in many studios in London and A.I.R. Montserrat in the Caribbean.

After being Chief engineer at A.I.R, he went freelance to continue a long association with Paul McCartney and resume traveling to A.I.R. Montserrat as a client (he has been there six times) and also to studios in Los Angeles, New York, Canada, France, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Florida.

Matt uses several studios to Record and Mix in 5.1 Surround, both for Film and Music DVD release. Aside from a long list of established names, Matt enjoys the search for new talent as an autonomous Producer.
